While many one stop shops offer a variety of services there is definitely an education gap when it comes to understanding how real estate agents can benefit from every service that we offer.

It is common knowledge that realtor's bare the brunt of the marketing costs associated with their listings. It comes out of their wallets and purses whether the home sells or not so there is no wonder as to why there is a bit of resistance from realtors to invest more resources on selling a home.

The truth of the matter is there was a time not too long ago when homes in British Columbia would sell even before the photos on the MLS website would even be posted. So no other services needed to be considered.

Well the time of buying homes before photos going up on MLS have significantly decreased due to restrictions on foreign purchases in BC, the high interest rates, and high home prices. More has to be done to capture the attention of potential buyers than ever before. This is where Planet Click steps in.

Planet Click has collaborated with a social media marketing guru, Shelby Rushen. Together we host a salon style group lunch & learn workshop on how real estate agents should not only use the digital media they purchase to initially sell homes but to utilize their digital media to market themselves on social media. How often do you market yourself through your digital media and social media? Do you include yourself in your videos? Do you include your intro voice overs? Do you put an ad at the end of your videos? These are just a few ways to market yourself in your digital media.

When a client makes a decision on who to select as their real estate agent of choice to sell their property, I can guarantee you that one of their heaviest considerations is who do they recognize in advertisements. This may seem shallow but really what your potential buyer is saying is "A real estate agent who markets themselves really well will know how to market my market my property really well also!"
